Firts my gratitude towards the owners Lacto & Malvina whom made my stay one of the best ever. There place is like a garden of Eden. Situated 30 seconds away from a lovely beach and 1 minute away from mainstreet. I stayed in what they called the tent but it was more then that. A nice room upstairs opposite of the small reception. It had al I needed. A mosquito net inside. a ceiling fan inside and outside so I had some air flowing around while chilling in my hammock. A separate bathroom with toilet and shower. They also have huts with warm water and AC but I didn't need that. I like some heat ;) As a woman traveling alone I felt very welcome and safe in their place and they really took good care of me when I suddenly had severe backpain. This place is really nice for family's with small children because it;s situated in like a said before.. a garden of Eden. But also young people will like this place. The moment I was staying there they where the mayority of guests and they had a good time, let me tell you ;) All in all.. I will go back!!!…

We booked this place through beachhutbooking.com which I'd never used before but the company were extremely helpful, arranging taxi's from the train stations and even booking our sleeper train travel as I was having difficulty online.
I'd previously been to Goa three years ago so knew I wanted to be between Palolem + Patnem beach. Columb Bay where Laguna Vista is located is a quiet peaceful bay ideally located if you want somewhere quiet to put your head down and to start the day. When I say quiet this is with the exception of hearing to odd dogs bark.
The accommodation is a very basic beach hut with a bed to rest your head and a slightly tired bathroom. There is a small verander outside the hut which was nice to sit at overlooking the fishermen's bay.
Tips - only a small hand towel size is provided for drying. We managed but it just wouldn't have been sufficient enough to sit outside in if your not one to reveal all.
The manager was very helpful and keen to please.
Must like dogs! The huts are closely guarded by a friendly pack of dogs that have lived there a few years. We were informed of this by another travelling couple who regularly returns to Laguna Beach.
We were slightly out of season when we stayed so cannot comment on the restaurant as it was not open for food, only beverages.
