Attach the scanned document to an outgoing e-mail message
1. Click Send E-mail.
File Type:Select a PDF file type.
To save the document as a password-protected PDF, select Secure PDF Multi-Page (*pdf)from theFile Typedropdown list, click, and then type the password.
If you select a PDF file that indicates 'Single-Page', each page will scan into a separate file.

The OCR (Optical Character Recognition) button lets you scan a document and convert it into text. This text can be edited using your favorite word processing software.
2. You may configure the following settings:

-OCR Language:3. Once you have made your selections, click OK. The document will now be converted to OCR and opened in the selected application.
